Purpose
To support the Business Controllers by proactively managing the Financial Accounting activities on their behalf and liaising with the outsourced shared service provider. Principal Accountabilities
To manage the outsourced partners Infosys in ensuring that the Financial Reporting is accurately and timely completed in accordance with the harmonised timetable
Assisting the Manager to structure new working practices and procedures to further develop the role of shared service centre
To support the migration of residual activities to our outsourced service provider.
To ensure that all Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations are regularly maintained and that all reconciling items are followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
To assist in the banking of incoming customer payments and ensure that all relevant supporting documentation is forwarded to Infosys to enable them to perform payment reconciliation.
To complete Internal Controls work on behalf of the shared finance centre and customers database in accordance with the Internal Control tools on a timely and accurate basis.
To provide support and guidance to the business in respect of UK VAT legislation as and when requested. To prepare monthly VAT reconciliations and VAT return declaration to the UK Fiscal function in a timely manner.
To prepare yearly Statutory Reporting and Benefit in Kind assessment on behalf of their customers in accordance with UK legislation
To be responsible for the reconciliation and control of Direct Customer Rebates. To ensure that customer accruals are in line with current Terms and Conditions agreed by National Account Managers
To prepare Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) monthly returns for UK Fiscal function

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
