Job Description : As Head Chef you will be responsible for running the kitchen, you will have total control of writing of menus, have excellent working practices in cost and wastage control, must be conversant with up to date Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations. As Head Chef you will manage 6 Chefs and help train the other Chefs.  The training and motivation and key development for the CDP’s, Commis & Kitchen Assistants is also necessary.  You will be responsible for managing service operations, orders and deliveries, storage and prep. The hotel covers can vary from 70 covers up to 140 covers depending on the season. The hotel caters for weddings and conferences throughout the year and is open to non residents. 
Person Specification
